Music Therapy Equivalency

Individuals who have earned a bachelor’s or master’s degree in music (or in a field related to music therapy) and wish to pursue a career in music therapy can complete the curriculum below to meet the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) Professional Competencies, including practicum experiences and internship. Some courses may have been completed as part of a prior degree.
