Wartburg College provides the required preprofessional courses for students who intend to enroll in a Physician Assistant program. In Pre-PA study, students earn a bachelor’s degree with a major from Wartburg and then enroll at another institution. Working with an academic adviser is very important when considering a PA program. |
Note:
Students may need to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and complete a course in medical terminology. Minimum GPA of 3.0 (including minimum Science GPA of 3.0). Most Physician Assistant programs require a minimum 750-1,000 hours in patient health care experience (may require CNA and CPR certification).
