EC 356 Social Entrepreneurship and Microfinance

Introduces the history, theory and emerging activities of social entrepreneurship around the world. Discussion of management skills for social entrepreneurial organizations, scaling of social impact and social performance measurement. Explores the microfinance sector as a model of social entrepreneurship innovation. May Term even years.
