RE 312 End of the World in Bible and Culture

Origins, worldview, characteristics of apocalyptic literature, both biblical and extra-biblical. History of the interpretation of apocalyptic texts with a special focus on American culture and politics.

Essential Ed Requirement: Faith and Reflection.

Prerequisite(s): RE 101 .
